Description:
The weld metal produced by A302 stainless steel electrodes exhibits excellent crack resistance and oxidation resistance. Suitable for both AC and DC operation, the electrodes resist reddening, produce a smooth arc with minimal spatter, and yield aesthetically pleasing welds. They offer excellent workability and good all-position weldability.
Applications:
Used for overlay welding and dissimilar steel welding.
Precautions:
1. Prior to welding, the electrodes must be baked at 350°C for one hour; use immediately after baking.
2. Before welding, thoroughly clean the workpiece to remove rust, oil, moisture, and other contaminants.
3. Maintain low current and short arc operation during welding.
