Description:
A402 is a Cr26Ni21 pure austenitic stainless steel welding rod. Its weld metal exhibits excellent oxidation resistance under high-temperature working conditions of 900-1100°C. Suitable for both AC and DC polarity, the rod resists reddening, offers good welding processability, excellent operability, and good all-position weldability.
Application:
Suitable for welding stainless steels of the same type and dissimilar steels operating under high-temperature conditions.
Precautions:
1. Prior to welding, the electrodes must be baked at 350°C for one hour. Use immediately after baking.
2. Thoroughly clean the weldment surface of rust, oil, moisture, and other contaminants before welding.
3. Maintain low current and short arc operation during welding.
