Description:
A022 is an ultra-low carbon stainless steel welding rod. Its weld metal exhibits low carbon content, offering excellent corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and crack resistance, along with good resistance to chloride ion pitting corrosion. Suitable for both AC and DC polarity, the rod resists reddening, produces a smooth arc with minimal spatter, and yields aesthetically pleasing weld bead formation. It offers excellent workability and good all-position weldability.
Applications:
Suitable for welding equipment in urea and synthetic fibre production, as well as similar stainless steel structures.
Precautions:
1. Prior to use, bake electrodes at 350°C for one hour; use immediately after baking.
2. Thoroughly clean weldment surfaces of rust, oil, moisture, and other contaminants before welding.
3. Maintain low current and short arc operation during welding.
